She defied her father when she earned her Class. But all choices have consequences…

It was never easy growing up as the illegitimate daughter of an overbearing duke. Rika endured her childhood, crushed under her father’s demand that she master spellcraft, and her half-sister’s contempt. So when the day came to earn her class, she made the only choice she could.

Disowned and banished for her choice, Rika must now find her own way through a harsh world ruled over by thirsting gods. Armed with nothing but a set of stolen armor, a cheap sword and shield, and the Class she’d always dreamed of, she’ll face danger she was never prepared for. Her first quest has her stuck with an under-leveled party determined to bicker its way to disaster. Worse, now that Rika’s been exiled, her half-sister no longer has any reason to hold back. And her hatred has simmered for years.

But Rika has one massive advantage.

Her Dark Warrior class boasts monstrous stat growth. It may start at rock bottom, but with every level she gains, her power compounds. Soon she’ll overtake her peers. Then, her former family. She’ll prove to herself, then the entire world, a strength to rival the gods themselves. If she can survive long enough to grasp it. And withstand the gods’ attention along the way.

So what if the odds are stacked against her? That’s when she’s at her best. But even then, her best might not be enough…
